Cillessen: "We did everything to win, but it wasn't to be"

Jasper Cillessen spoke to VCF MEDIA about events in Valencia CF's away game against RCD Espanyol, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

“We tried everything to win. A draw is not good, but it is better than losing. There were some bad moments for us before the halftime break, and in the second half we did everything to win, but it wasn't to be."

A possible penalty on Mario Domínguez

“I didn't see it, but it looks like it was a penalty. The referee didn't whistle for it and we can't change it now."

"I felt good. It was a good feeling to play again. The goalkeepers work to the fullest every day in case the coach wants us to play at the weekend."
